Eta Alpha Sigma

Eta Alpha Sigma Graduate Chapter is the Alumnae Chapter for the Sacramento, Davis, and Chico Areas, and we are in the Capitol City of Sacramento, California. We are a non-profit community service organization. Seven of the graduate members chartered the chapter on September 28, 1988. The chapter was later reactivated in 2000.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was organized on November 12, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana by seven young educators: The group became an incorporated national collegiate sorority on December 30, 1929 when a charter was granted to Alpha chapter at Butler University. Soaring To Greater Heights Of Attainment Around The World, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., as a leading national service organization, has met the challenges of the day and continues to grow through Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service . Eta Alpha Sigma Graduate Chapter addresses the needs of the community. We provide an environment for the community, and our sisterhood encourages teamwork, personal and professional growth, and engages them in a passion for education. By direct contributions and individual participation, the quality of life in the community is improved.
